Saving the Station Portal to Your Home Screen

You can save the Station Portal to your phone’s home screen so it opens like an app — no need to open a browser and navigate each time.

Android

Using Chrome

  1. Open the Station Portal URL in Chrome
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
  3. Tap Add to Home screen
  4. Edit the shortcut name if you’d like (e.g. “Tyabb Brigade”)
  5. Tap Add
  6. The icon appears on your home screen

Using Samsung Internet

  1. Open the URL in Samsung Internet
  2. Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the bottom
  3. Tap Add page to → Home screen
  4. Confirm the name and tap Add

Opening the Saved Page

Tap the icon on your home screen. The portal opens directly in your browser — no login required.

iOS (iPhone and iPad)

Using Safari

  1. Open the Station Portal URL in Safari

  2. Tap the Share button (the box with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen

  3. Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen

  4. Edit the name if you’d like (e.g. “Tyabb Brigade”)

  5. Tap Add in the top-right corner

  6. The icon appears on your home screen

Tap the icon on your home screen. The portal opens in a full-screen browser window — no login required.

Tips

Section titled “Tips”
  • Name it clearly — use your brigade name so it’s easy to find on a busy home screen
  • Share the icon setup — if you’re helping members get set up, walk through these steps together at your next training session or meeting
  • The saved shortcut always opens the live portal, so any updates your admin makes are reflected immediately
